Thiru D. Sarathkumar is the MLA of Tambaram Constituency, representing Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK). Elected in the 2026 Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections, he secured his maiden victory with a margin of 35,621 votes. He currently serves as the Minister for Human Resources Management and Ex-Servicemen Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu. Born in 1992, he is among the youngest members of the Tamil Nadu Cabinet.

He is committed to improving governance, strengthening public administration, enhancing government human resource systems, and working towards the overall development and welfare of the people of Tambaram Constituency.
